Policies

Booking Policy

Please be advised a 50% deposit or a credit card is required to book your appointment. You should receive a text message and/ or email after booking, if you do not please contact the store directly to confirm your appointment has been scheduled. 

 

Effective Immediately:

Client Appointment Confirmation Policy (For Appointments Exceeding One Hour Only)

This policy applies exclusively to appointments lasting more than one hour to ensure efficient scheduling and accommodate all clients in a timely manner.

 

Confirmation Requirement

  • All appointments exceeding one hour must be confirmed at least three (3) days prior to the scheduled appointment time.

  • Clients will receive a confirmation request from our system via: phone, text, email, etc. and must respond within the required timeframe to secure their appointment. Please be sure to give us a call 3 days prior to your appointment to reschedule, cancel or alter your existing appointment. (For Appointments Exceeding One Hour Only)



Failure to Confirm

  • If confirmation is not received at least three (3) days in advance, the appointment may be subject to cancellation by Wax & Unwine. (For Appointments Exceeding One Hour Only)

Late Policy

 

There is a 5-minute grace period for each client. If you are more than 5 minutes late you will have to reschedule and/ or wait until the next available appointment time.

 

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

 

YOU MUST CALL THE STORE TO CANCEL ALL APPOINTMENTS. Cancellations cannot be done online. For appointments under one hour you must cancel or reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment time to avoid being charged (PLEASE NOTE: If you do not confirm your appointment that does not mean that it will be automatically cancelled). Appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged ½ of the appointment price. 

 

Same-day cancellations or reschedules will incur a 50% charge of the appointment price.

  • A $5 rescheduling fee will be applied to each additional rescheduled appointment after the first two..

  • All fees are due on the same day.

 

 

No-Show Policy

·    1st No Show- ½ of the amount of the appointment amount will be charged to the card on file.

·    2nd No Show- 95% of the appointment amount will be charged to the card on file.

·    3rd No Show- 95% of the appointment amount will be charged to the card on file and you will be placed on a walk-in basis only. 

 

* Please note, that a valid card must be on file to hold any appointment. If a No Show Fee or Late Cancellation payment is unsuccessful, the balance must be paid prior to booking your next appointment. In addition, this policy is subject to change at any time with notice.*

 

 

Late Arrival, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy

 

We strive to provide timely and efficient service to all clients. To maintain our schedule and ensure fairness, please review our policy regarding late arrivals, cancellations, and rescheduling.

 

Late Arrival Policy

  • A 5-minute grace period is allowed. If you arrive within this window, your scheduled services will proceed as planned.

  • If you are more than 5 minutes late, your appointment may need to be adjusted based on availability. This could mean modifying your service (e.g., changing a Brazilian Wax to a Bikini Full Wax) or reducing the number of services.

  • If you are 10 minutes late or more, your appointment will be canceled, and you will be charged 50% of the appointment price. A new appointment will need to be scheduled.

 

Effective October 1st, 2023, a 4% fee for each card transaction will be applied to all card transactions. To avoid this fee, we recommend using cash or Zelle for payments, both of which will not incur additional charges.

 

 

VIP Access & Inactivity Policy

  • If your account is suspended, you will lose all VIP access, including VIP pricing privileges.

  • If your account remains inactive for six (6) months or longer, your VIP access will be revoked, and you will be required to pay regular pricing for all services.
